We started with a vision to ensure that no one ever has a bad meal! Over 10 years Zomato has steadily built both a search and discovery platform that fuels stable and growing transaction businesses. Zomato is the largest and fastest growing online ordering platform in Beirut, and we are now looking for an aggressive and ambitious business head to accelerate the growth of the business in Lebanon.

Here's what we are looking at

  • You should have 6 to 9 years of experience with substantial experience in driving growth, business development, account management and sales.
  • Enjoys solving complex problems through analytical excellence and commercial acumen 
  • Has strong people skills with 2+ years of experience in managing and leading multi-layered teams and budgets 
  • Proven track record of achieving targets - including planning, team management and execution of plans to achieve the desired business goals
  • Prior experience in startups is a plus 

Would be great if you also have

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to get hands dirty and get stuff done 
  • Good business judgment, strong prioritization skills, an unwavering focus, and the ability to multitask while working in a highly charged environment

Your typical day as a Zoman will look like

  • Own and lead the business and P&L for Zomato’s Online Ordering business in Beirut
  • You will manage the revenue for the business by planning, strategizing, and executing operations to meet and exceed targets. This would require you to –
    • Develop ambitions goals for the business and create long term sustainable plans to fuel this growth.
    • Plan, prioritize and execute solutions for user and merchant growth
    • Own the full stack of roles from supply, fulfillment, product experience, marketing and user growth
    • Work closely with the central services team and solve for long and short term issues with sustainable solutions
    • Grow the revenue and order volume by new merchant acquisitions and retention
    • Build and lead a multi-layered sales team - formulate targets, city priorities and incentive plans, drive recruitment, training and mentoring of team members to ensure individual growth and transfer of learning across the region
    • Develop plans for key accounts, manage their expectations and contribute towards client satisfaction
  • To accomplish this we are looking for someone with an aptitude for problem solving, ability for astute decision-making and strong leadership skills to motivate and lead a high performing team
