To reach closer to its vision of providing better food to more people, Zomato is now entering the supply channel for restaurants.

As the Sourcing Supervisor you will be responsible for carrying out the defined tasks at vendor management to ensure procurement is at the highest efficiency.

Here’s what we’re looking for (Technical Skills)


  • 2-4 years experience in Business Operations/Finance Roles
  • Experience in accounting is a must
  • Startup acumen - strong work ethics, flexible, willingness to get hands dirty and have a 'get stuff done' attitude
  • Sound business judgment and ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Project Management & planning experience
  • Vendor management experience to understand fill rates, quality, and other sourcing metrics
  • Sales Operations management experience with merchant onboarding & collections planning
  • Data Analysis & Key Metrics reporting
  • Prior startup experience is a plus

Here’s what we’re looking for (Soft Skills)

Your typical day as a Zoman will look like


  • Interpret and understand day-to-day business user requirements and prepare/execute operational practices/processes
  • Deal with post vendor onboarding processes i.e. documentation, invoicing and debit notes, PO-GRN-Bill reconciliation
  • Work with the central and city management team to enhance existing reports and dashboards as well as build new ones that increase sales visibility and efficiencies to track growth across the business vertical
  • Responsible for timely and accurate payables for all vendor payments across categories for the vertical based on credit cycles
  • Ensure compliance with credit control mechanism
  • Operate as an expert of vendor management processes and an escalation point for issue and conflict resolutions
  • Analyze data on a daily basis that will help in proactively responding to the market and ensuring Zomato stays ahead of the curve
