About the role

The Marketing team at Zomato works towards understanding the market around and creating a market for its customers. This involves a crucial task of identifying and classifying its customer base and catering to its conscious and subconscious choices. A copywriter’s role would, thus, entail curating content for all marketing communication for our digital and offline campaigns

Your typical day as a Zoman will look like

  • Delivering the core message of Zomato and its offering for our target audience
  • Being up to date with all concepts, campaigns, and launches coming up – constantly creating written material that is in line with the tone of Zomato
  • Making sure you’re in contact with all stakeholders – design, digital, sales, events, etc. to ensure content is in line with all elements of the campaign
  • Building on communication for all partner deliverables that will be included in our digital and offline creative campaigns
  • Writing concise and grammatically correct promotional content for all communication that is going out


Here’s what we’re looking for

  • 2-4 years of experience as a creative copywriter
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Great management and prioritization skills - ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Quirky bent of mind - Ability to come up with fun, creative, unique and fresh concepts
  • Expertise in finding the pulse for relatable content
  • Comprehension of the latest trends and their standing within a business ecosystem
