About the role

The product team is the guiding force for all our products, working towards the birth and growth of each
element of Zomato on a daily basis. You will be working closely with our design, business,
engineering and operations team, to comprehend user faced hurdles, brainstorm and curate
beautiful solutions that not only solve for these, but also ensure the development of our brand in
more ways than one.


Here's what you'll do day-to-day

  • Fully own the vision and roadmap of the product areas you are assigned
  • Develop deep understanding of our users, their needs and create useful product experiences that address those needs
  • Manage the cross-functional execution of the product roadmap, working closely with design, engineering, operations and business teams
  • Synthesize insights from user research, customer meetings, usage data, and sales feedback to prioritize improvements and new feature ideas
  • Lead organizational initiatives to establish best-in-class product management practices within Zomato


Who fits the bill?

  • Prior product shipping experience. Experience in shipping high-quality consumer or enterprise internet products at scale (Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle)

  • A BE/B.Tech degree, or equivalent experience in a high growth tech company or startup. A strong technical understanding, from overall architecture to intricate details, is a major plus

  • Data-driven - solid understanding of data/analytics tools, and ability to deep dive into data to make decisions

  • User-centric approach - ability to think user first, and unwillingness to make compromises on the user experience
