Zomato is a restaurant search and discovery platform, providing in-depth information for over 1.4 million restaurants across 24 countries. Zomato is used by consumers globally to discover, rate and review restaurants, as well as create their own personal network of foodies for trusted recommendations.


Restaurants improve their discoverability through Zomato’s hyperlocal advertising platform - currently this forms a large part of Zomato’s revenue. In addition to restaurant search and discovery, Zomato has expanded its offering to include Online Ordering, Table Reservations, a White label Platform and a Point-of-Sale system, creating cutting-edge technology to connect restaurant businesses and customers in ways that will revolutionize the restaurant industry.


About the role:

Ensuring a seamless delivery experience is an integral part of ordering food online. Zomato aims to bring the best in class delivery experience to users. Given the steep growth rate, we need hustlers who are able to anticipate problems and fix them before they start hampering the customer experience. We are looking for people who not only can come up with quick hack to solve issues at hand but also can think of long term solutions and design sustainable processes. 


As a Program Manager, Zomato Logistics you will help us align our Product, Operations and Support programs to ensure best in class customer experience. 


You will be responsible for planning logistics projects, leading these projects and improving processes. In this role, you would be expected to formulate, experiment and implement different processes across cities. 


You will be responsible to highlight improvements in existing processes and design new ones which will help the city teams to grow faster and in a sustainable way. 


Since the processes are to be implemented across cities, it is important the PM is able to communicate, drive and motivate cross-functional teams to work together. 


In a nutshell, the role will include- 

  • Identifying key issues and bottlenecks in the process of delivering orders
  • Planning and leading initiatives to improve customer-experience 
  • Coordinate and work with city teams to implement the best practices
  • Analyze the impact (ROI) of these projects 

Requirements

Here's what we are looking for: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience of managing cross-functional projects and teams 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficient in MS Excel and working knowledge of SQL
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and unpredictable work hours
