About the role:

The value derived by our users from the Zomato’s Gold Program depends on the breadth and quality of restaurants they find on Zomato. Sales Manager/Key-Accounts Manager plays a key role in delivering this value by acquiring the right restaurant partners and bringing them on board as Zomato Gold Partners.
Our Zomato Gold sales team works simultaneously on multiple fronts - onboarding partner restaurants, account management, coordination for marketing activities aiming to provide a smooth experience both to - the user and the gold partner itself.

Here's what your day looks like:

  • Ensure that Zomato Gold has the most comprehensive selection of restaurants by signing up the target merchants quickly and effectively
  • Be ready to travel and meet merchants as this is a field intensive role
  • Build an in-depth understanding of the restaurants in your city across categories and sign up the right set of restaurants to partner with
  • Clearly articulate the Zomato Gold value proposition to merchants
  • Efficiently solve problems and making smart decisions to ensure supply is our competitive advantage
  • Create a long term partnership with Gold partners


Here’s what we are looking for:

  • 0–4 years of sales experience. Understands sales ecosystem, is strong-willed and persuasive
  • Relevant experience in B2B sales will be an advantage
  • Exhibits initiative and demonstrates the ability to function independently
  • Should be presentable, articulate, detail-oriented and is able to multi-task
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and unpredictable work hours
