How does this team contribute to Zomato?

As Senior Manager, Marketing for Online Ordering Business at Zomato, you will report into the Head of Brands & Offline Marketing.

 

In this role, you will lead brand activation initiatives for our online ordering business. One of your prime responsibilities will be to drive our consumer acquisition plan at city level and translate it into strong ATL/BTL plans. Additionally, you will work with the customer development team to identify top legendary merchants and devise a focused growth marketing plan to accelerate order growth, as well as enhance the overall brand appeal of Zomato among the merchant community.

 

This role requires an in-depth understanding of regional marketing activations along with a strong analytical and business acumen, to link the marketing programs with short term growth.

 

Your typical day as a Zoman will look like

  • Drive strategy, planning and execution of our marketing agenda for Online Ordering
  • Design and implement regional marketing initiatives to lead the expansion of Zomato in new cities
  • Drive order growth in top cities by identifying the key drivers of growth and translating them into a comprehensive marketing plan
  • Lead partnerships with key merchants and design customized ATL and BTL plans to deliver order growth
  • Track offline marketing initiatives and optimize ROI by shifting spends across mediums with better returns
  • Collaborate with the brand lead to ensure that the regional communication is in sync with the national campaigns

Requirements

Here’s what we are looking for (Technical Skills)

  • MBA from a premier management institute
  • 6 to 10 years of Sales & Marketing experience with a strong brand activations background
  • Experience of working across the complete marketing mix i.e, new product launches, communication, revenue management and packaging development
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to judge creatives, both from a brand strategy as well as aesthetic perspective
  • Experience of working with external agencies – Creative Agencies, Media Partners, Research Partners etc
  • Strong analytical & problem solving ability with a high bias to action
  • An ability to think out of the box and be an Industry Pioneer
